Ballroom Dance Classes for Adults- Individuals will learn the basics of ballroom dancing, a beautiful and exciting art. Our top level coaches will provide students with all the fundamentals of ballroom dancing providing them with an introduction to this dancing style. Over the course of five weeks, students will learn four of the most well-known social dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba and Salsa. These lessons will. not only provide students with a new level of understanding and appreciation for ballroom dancing, but also with an opportunity to interact with others, build new friendships, and experience an enjoyable evening.

Students will be exposed to the fundamentals of ballroom dancing in a friendly and relaxed setting . They will gain a new set of social dancing skills, allowing them to feel more comfortable and confident . This program will provide an outlet for participants, giving them a chance to unwind after a long day and meet many new people.

Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather that inhibits activity, you will be notified by email of that day's cancellation as early as possible. Every effort will be made to make up the missed class at the end of the program. During the winter, if Walpole Public School closes due to inclement weather, Recreation Department programs and classes will also be cancelled for the day.

Refund Policy:
Because the Recreation Department incurs expenses to hire staff, purchase supplies and materials, and contract other expenses in preparation of a program, the department cannot offer full refunds. Full credits may be issued. Partial refunds may be issued upon request, however a 20% administrative fee over the overall program cost will be deducted per registrant. The Recreation Department will not issue refunds for any credit card convenience fees incurred. No refunds or credits will be issued without 48 hours' notice prior to the start of the program.
