Please bring a water bottle, a mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothes.

Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Please bring water and a mouthguard.Floor Hockey will be played in the upstairs gym at Blackburn Hall. Enter through the side door of Blackburn Hall at the sign that says "Recreation Department."

Come join in on the fun of learning how to take part in a musical theatre performance. Children will learn the basics of putting together a production. In this class, boys and girls will audition for a role in the musical "Addison’s Medley Excerpts." This play is sweet and cute, unlike what most people think zombies are. The play has been rewritten along the theme of the original 2018 children’s TV movie "Zombies.” Children will sing, dance, and act their way into a world of excitement. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. No experience needed. Everyone receives a speaking part of some kind!

Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Please bring water and a mouthguard.Floor Hockey will be played in the upstairs gym at Blackburn Hall. Come join in on the fun of learning how to take part in a musical theatre performance. Children will learn the basics of putting together a production. In this class, boys and girls will audition for a role in the musical "Addison’s Medley Excerpts." This play is sweet and cute, unlike what most people think zombies are. The play has been rewritten along the theme of the original 2018 children’s TV movie "Zombies.” Children will sing, dance, and act their way into a world of excitement. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. No experience needed. Everyone receives a speaking part of some kind!

Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Please bring water and a mouthguard.Floor Hockey will be played in the upstairs gym at Blackburn Hall. Drop your kids off for a preschool structured playgroup! We will follow a daily schedule that will include open play, story time, arts and crafts, snack and indoor activities to get all their energy out! This group is designed to introduce kids to the structure of a typical school day. Children will explore fine and gross motor skills, simple songs and social interactions with children their age.Children do not have to be potty trained to attend Playgroup, however, in the event a diaper needs to be changed - parents will need to come to the program and change them. Staff cannot change diapers.

The goal of the course is not only to develop a solid musical foundation in piano, but most importantly to instill in the student a genuine love and appreciation for music. A group atmosphere is often more beneficial and enjoyable for beginning level students because they are motivated by their peers, but are also allowed to progress at their own rate. Basic piano skills, such as proper hand positions, posture, note reading, and technique, will be taught. Students will learn how to play age appropriate music step by step. They will learn to listen to each other while playing, developing of a better sense of rhythm and tempo.No previous experience is required. If you don't have a keyboard at home, you can rent one from the Ivy Music Academy for an additional fee.Guitar Lessons (Beginner)This class is an introduction to guitar playing. We will begin by studying both the names of the notes on each string and the basic open position chords. Next, we will focus on the art of strumming and then apply this core knowledge to create basic accompaniments for a wide variety of popular tunes. Basic improvisation and use of the capo are also covered. This class is suitable for the absolute beginner. Please provide your own guitar for the lessons.Guitar Lessons (Intermediate) - Guitar StylesEssential rhythm and lead guitar techniques are explored, focusing on Blues, Jazz, Rock and Classical styles. Other styles covered are Country, Pop, Folk, Flamenco and Heavy Metal. This class is suitable for students who already have a strong working knowledge of basic open position chords. The instruments will be provided by Ivy Music Academy at no additional cost. Ukulele LessonsEven if you’ve never played the ukulele before, you will be picking and strumming along with a collection of ten popular Beatles songs by the end of this nine-week course.Beginning with just one simple basic chord, each week we will progressively add more chords, and build on our knowledge to learn: “Within You, Without You”, “Eleanor Rigby”, “Tomorrow Never Knows”, “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da”, “Love Me Do”, “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away”, “Let It Be”, “Glass Onion”, “Something”, and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. Please provide your own soprano or concert ukulele for the lessons. Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Please bring water and a mouthguard.Floor Hockey will be played in the upstairs gym at Blackburn Hall. Come join in on the fun of learning how to take part in a musical theatre performance. Children will learn the basics of putting together a production. In this class, boys and girls will audition for a role in the musical "Addison’s Medley Excerpts." This play is sweet and cute, unlike what most people think zombies are. The play has been rewritten along the theme of the original 2018 children’s TV movie "Zombies.” Children will sing, dance, and act their way into a world of excitement. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. No experience needed. Everyone receives a speaking part of some kind!

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Only four people can play at once so there will be a rotation.

Can you imagine yourself healthy, joyful, and at peace? With regular yoga practice, you may notice an increase in your range of motion, bone and muscle strength, and improved sleep patterns. Classes focus on the whole person, not just the physical body, and generally consist of breath-work, stretching, flowing sequences, and holding postures. Classes end with relaxation and optional Reiki - a healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation.

At the end of our class, the children will have nutritious and delicious food to share with their families.In the Sous Chef Program, we are excited to encourage our sous chefs to learn about culinary tools, correct cooking techniques, and kitchen safety. The children will be encouraged to use their own creativity to modify recipes to their taste preferences. Throughout the class, we will take short breaks to clean up and have mini dance parties to have some fun during the cooking process. At the end of the class, the children will have delicious and nutritious food to share with their families.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. Only four people can play at once so there will be a rotation.

Children will explore fine and gross motor skills, simple songs and social interactions with children their age.Children do not have to be potty trained to attend Playgroup, however, in the event a diaper needs to be changed - parents will need to come to the program and change them. Come join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some street hockey fun. Fundamentals of hockey will be taught through training stations the first portion of the course. One-timers, passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focus in the beginning. After the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion street hockey game. At the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship.Please bring water and a mouthguard.Floor Hockey will be played in the upstairs gym at Blackburn Hall. The goal of the course is not only to develop a solid musical foundation in piano, but most importantly to instill in the student a genuine love and appreciation for music. A group atmosphere is often more beneficial and enjoyable for beginning level students because they are motivated by their peers, but are also allowed to progress at their own rate. Basic piano skills, such as proper hand positions, posture, note reading, and technique, will be taught. Students will learn how to play age appropriate music step by step. They will learn to listen to each other while playing, developing of a better sense of rhythm and tempo.No previous experience is required. If you don't have a keyboard at home, you can rent one from the Ivy Music Academy for an additional fee.Guitar Lessons (Beginner)This class is an introduction to guitar playing. We will begin by studying both the names of the notes on each string and the basic open position chords. Next, we will focus on the art of strumming and then apply this core knowledge to create basic accompaniments for a wide variety of popular tunes. Basic improvisation and use of the capo are also covered. This class is suitable for the absolute beginner. Please provide your own guitar for the lessons.Guitar Lessons (Intermediate) - Guitar StylesEssential rhythm and lead guitar techniques are explored, focusing on Blues, Jazz, Rock and Classical styles. Other styles covered are Country, Pop, Folk, Flamenco and Heavy Metal. This class is suitable for students who already have a strong working knowledge of basic open position chords. Come join in on the fun of learning how to take part in a musical theatre performance. Children will learn the basics of putting together a production. In this class, boys and girls will audition for a role in the musical "Addison’s Medley Excerpts." This play is sweet and cute, unlike what most people think zombies are. The play has been rewritten along the theme of the original 2018 children’s TV movie "Zombies.” Children will sing, dance, and act their way into a world of excitement. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. No experience needed. Everyone receives a speaking part of some kind!

Our Self Defense program, rooted in the Israeli system of Krav Maga, is reality-based scenario training that utilizes practical, aggressive technique and combatives designed to build strength, endurance, and improve conditioning. The objective is to learn how to defend yourself and your loved ones against an aggressor.All courses are held at Impact Martial Arts Studio, located at 419 High Plain Street in Walpole.
